INTRODUCTION

This competition is one of the activities for poster presenters prior to physical poster presentation during the ASEAN Food Conference 2023.

OBJECTIVES

To foster excellence in research and digital presentation skills among food researchers.

ELIGIBILITY

Every contestant is required to be a registered participant of the ASEAN Food Conference 2023, and their abstracts must have been accepted for poster presentation.

The entries must be submitted through the following link with proper labelling for the submitted document (AFC Ref. No._Corresponding author) (e.g.: A-0187_Myrna Benita

Please submit the E-Poster by 13 SEPTEMBER 2023 (Wednesday).

Notification of acceptance will be automatically generated upon submission.

Preparation of E-Poster Presentation
The e-poster should have the following information:

• Title, authors, and institution/s
• Abstract
• Introduction (background) and objectives
• Materials and Methods
• Results and discussion
• Conclusion
• Acknowledgement (e.g., financial support)
• References

The E-poster should be in PDF format.

E-POSTER COMPETITION DISCLAIMER:

By participating in the E-Poster Competition, all participants agree to the following terms and conditions:

Judges' Decision: The decisions made by the panel of judges are final and binding. No disputes or appeals regarding the judges' decisions will be entertained.

Organising Committee Discretion: The organising committee reserves the right to not award any prizes if the submitted posters do not meet the predetermined quality standards. This decision is at the sole discretion of the organising committee and cannot be contested.

Originality and Plagiarism: All participants are required to submit original work. Plagiarism or any form of intellectual property infringement will result in immediate disqualification.

Submission Deadline: Late submissions may not be accepted. It is the responsibility of participants to ensure their posters are submitted before the stipulated deadline.

Participant Responsibility: Participants are responsible for ensuring that their submissions adhere to any technical specifications and guidelines provided by the organizing committee (refer to AFC's Website).

Content Accuracy: Participants are accountable for the accuracy and authenticity of the content presented in their posters. Any misinformation or misleading content will result in disqualification.

Prize Acceptance: Winners will be announced during the conference. If the prizes are not collected during the conference, and failure to respond within the specified timeframe may result in the forfeiture of prizes.

Publicity Rights: By participating, participants grant the organising committee the right to use their names, affiliations, and submitted materials for promotional purposes related to the competition, without any compensation.

Data Privacy: Participant information collected during registration will be used solely for the purpose of administering the competition and will not be shared with third parties.

Modification of Rules: The organising committee reserves the right to modify or update the competition rules, guidelines, or any other aspect related to the competition, if deemed necessary.

Liability: The organising committee will not be liable for any losses, damages, or injuries incurred by participants during the competition.

Compliance: Participants are required to comply with all local, national, and international laws and regulations during their participation in the competition.

Cancellation: The organiser reserves the right to cancel the competition if a minimum number of participants is not achieved. While we are committed to providing an enriching and competitive experience for all participants, circumstances beyond our control may necessitate such a decision.
